The Mojácar Town Hall local authority has received from provincial delegate José Fernández Amador a copy of draft plans for a bowling green, to be located on municipal land close to the Marina de la Torre hotel zone.

“This municipal bowling green will increase the wide offer of sports facilities Mojácar already has and has been something much demanded by local residents since the closure two years ago of the private facilities where enthusiasts practiced this federated sport”, commented Mojácar Mayoress, Rosa María Cano.

“It still lacks financing, but I hope to gain that as soon as possible.”

The estimated budget for the works is around 125,000 euros.

Commented José Fernández Amador, provincial delegate for Assistance to Municipalities, “Our obligation is to satisfy town hall demands. They asked us for a bowling green, the first time we’ve been asked for this king of project. The technicians updated themselves, since it is the first managed by Provincial Deputation experts, and here’s the draft project.”
